These items are grouped together around the theme of children and toys. This grouping includes items ranging from antique dolls and old books that have been in the family for more than a century to modern dolls that belonged to my children. 

This group of heirlooms is about communication, which has been important in my family's history. Writing, photography, telephones and the mail all were fields that members of our family have been involved in professionally. 

These are carpentry tools and related items handed down in our family, which included fine carpenters in both my and my husband's families. 

This is my grandparents' wedding picture, along with cuff links and a locket that belonged to them.
