We designed this website for Family Eye Care of Apex, an eye care practice in Apex, North Carolina, so that the doctors and their staff could easily update content themselves and patients could easily access information they need to understand their eye conditions and patient forms. The site is functional, simple to use, and has slide presentations, pdf forms, google map capability, weblogs, and the ability to make appointments and order contacts and glasses on-line. We have designed associated print and web ads, brochures, business cards, flyers and other materials that are consistent with the website.

The organizers of this annual exhibit of nativity scenes in the Southeastern United States wanted an easy way to sign up hundreds of volunteers to loan nativity scenes and help with the event. We created this robust site, which includes a comprehensive sign-up form that enables volunteers to sign up for a variety of tasks at once. The information is collected internally in sortable spreadsheet reports. The website also has an on-line invitation, google map location capability, press page where media photos and information can be downloaded, slide shows, an event calendar and an internal log-in area where organizers can upload and edit content. The website is used for five different nativity events and is expandable. It received 20,000 page hits in 41 states, Canada and Latin America in December 2010.

We designed this logo for Stock Market CPR, an educational website aimed at helping people to gain the skills necessary to recover from the stock market fiasco and learn to trade stocks more safely.

We designed a series of brochures for Family Eye Care of Apex to give out in community welcome kits.

This invitation was designed for a large community Christmas nativity exhibit in Apex, North Carolina. It is compatible in design with the event’s website, guest favors, decorations and building signage.

We have designed integrated media services for Family Eye Care of Apex for a number of years. We built and maintain the company’s Expression Engine website, design magazine ads, informative flyers to give to patients, brochures, magazine and web ads, business card/appointment cards, and coupons as needed.

This is a typical Chapter title page from Silenced Scream: A Visual History of the 1989 Tiananmen Protests, a full-color photo-illustrated history book for the public on the 1989 Tiananmen democracy protests in China. We designed, wrote and provided most of the photographs for this book, which is available in e-book and print versions. This is one of a number of photo-illustrated books we have produced for organizations, families and individuals.
